Job Description:
Compliance support to retainer ship clients:
Review of monthly accounts to ascertain tax compliance, set off calculations, spotting issues, follow up
Solution to the issues based on understanding of the facts and prevalent statutory provisions
Preparation of Calculations, challans, return
Consultancy support:
Understanding facts and requirements of the client
Providing tailor made solutions to the client
Preparation of tax alerts/articles on important statutory announcements, case laws
Litigation:
Attending audits, departmental visits, assessments, etc
Preparing and arguing appeals
Administration:
Preparation and follow up of proposals
Billing and recovery
Desired Profile:
Hands on experience in Indirect tax law is essential
Proficient in MS Office and Tally
Very good written & oral communication and interpersonal skills
Self motivated, with ability to perform under limited supervision at a demanding pace
