Job Description:
Supervision and assisting engineering personnel of contractor. Initially also undertaking routine inspections and maintenance on Bucyrus equipment.
Training of contractors personnel
Fault finding and problem solving
Liaison with Bucyrus engineering specialist in India/Germany and other countries
Detailed knowledge of mechanical aspects of equipment
Basic knowledge of electrical aspects of equipment
Basic knowledge of flame proofing aspects on UG equipment
Understanding mining systems
Maintain maintenance and breakdown reports
Respond to customer complaints
Provide input and support in improving equipment.
