Job Description:
Opportunity to work with a unique fast growing startup in the space of digital media (movies, tv shows, music) on mobile phones.
The founders are IIT and Harvard Business School graduates.
This is a unique opportunity to see a company grow from scratch.
The company is backed by renowned investors.
The person will be working independently and interacting with the biggest production houses in the country (Moser Baer, UTV, Percept etc.). We will get content from these production houses, the content needs to be encoded in a format condusive for mobiles (software is available) and inputed in a database along with other information about the content (actors, director etc.).
After 2-3 months of good performance, the person will likely be promoted to the level of a manager where he will not only be doing the work himself, but also supervising 1-2 other people. Since its a growing company, growth opportunities are tremendous for the right candidate.

Someone who is comfortable working independently and gets the work done
Someone who is entrepreneurial and is looking to join us on this entrepreneurial journey, hopefully for the long-haul
The person should be comfortable in doing whatever is required for company to succeed and should not be bound by what is there in the original job description. People with this attitude will go far in our organization
In terms of technical skills, person should have basic knowledge about working with a computer, mobile phones and searching for information online. Knowledge about codecs is a plus. The higher the proficiency in these things, will lead to significant and faster growth
